💰 Refund Policy
We want every student to feel confident booking on TutorsLink. If you are not satisfied with a paid session, you are entitled to a full refund within 48 hours of the session taking place.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the session end time.
- To request a refund, reach us on Discord or Instagram with your booking reference.
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days back to the original payment method.
- Demo (free) sessions are excluded from this policy as no payment is taken.
📅 Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both students and tutors.
- 24-hour notice: Cancel at least 24 hours before a session with no penalty and a full refund.
- Late cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session may incur a 50% charge to compensate the tutor for their reserved time.
- No-shows: Failing to attend a booked session without notice will forfeit the full session fee.
📊 Commission Structure
We believe tutors should keep the majority of their earnings. Our commission model is designed to reward loyalty.
- First month: TutorsLink retains a 40% commission on all session earnings.
- From month 2 onwards: 0% commission — tutors keep 100% of every session fee.
- Payouts are sent monthly, by the 5th of the following month.
- Tutors can track earnings in their profile dashboard at any time.
🤝 Community Guidelines
TutorsLink is built on mutual respect. All users — students and tutors — are expected to uphold these community standards.
- Treat everyone on the platform with respect and professionalism at all times.
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language of any kind is strictly prohibited.
- Tutors are expected to respond to student enquiries within 24 hours.
- All sessions should be conducted in the spirit of genuine learning and education.
- TutorsLink reserves the right to remove any user found to be violating these guidelines without prior notice.

Your privacy matters to us. Here is how we collect, use, and protect your data.
- We collect personal data including your name, email address, and platform usage data in order to provide our service.
- Your data is never sold to third parties. We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
- We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g. payment processors) strictly as required to operate the platform.
- You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@tutorslink.com.
- We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data.
✅ Acceptable Use
TutorsLink is a platform for genuine learning. The following uses are strictly prohibited.
- Requesting or receiving assistance with plagiarism, academic fraud, or contract cheating of any kind.
- Circumventing platform payments by arranging off-platform sessions to avoid TutorsLink fees.
- Academic honesty is expected from all students; tutors must not facilitate dishonest academic conduct.
- Any user found in violation of this policy may be permanently removed from the platform and reported to relevant authorities where required.
