Tutors Link

Policies

Clear policies that protect our community.

For Tutors

1

Tutors must hide their identity as a tutor in the community. Not doing so could result in students messaging tutors directly and avoiding Tutors Link's commission.

2

Tutors must not reveal their contact info or username in any way while talking to a potential student. After the student has paid, both sides will be given each other's contacts.

3

Tutors must accept Tutors Link's commission terms. Tutors Link will take 40% of the first month's fees of every student the tutor gets through Tutors Link.

4

Tutors must be at least 13 years old to teach through our platform.

For Students

1

All payments must be made 100% beforehand. Students will be connected to the tutor after payment is confirmed.

2

Students must not reveal their contact info or username in any way while talking to their tutor. After payment is confirmed, both sides will be connected.

3

All students will pay their fees to Tutors Link. Tutors Link will keep the fees until the end of the first month, then give them to the tutor. This helps avoid scams and makes refunds easier. From the second month onward, fees are paid directly to the tutor.

4

Prices per class are fixed and decided by the tutor. The number of classes can change, but the price per class stays fixed.

General

1

Tutors Link is a platform that connects students with tutors. We take full responsibility for any problems that occur on either side in the first month.

2

Tutors Link is not responsible for any problems that occur after the first month. For example, tutor price changes or tutor-caused issues after that period are handled directly between the parties.

Refunds

Refunds by Tutors Link can only be given in the first month.

Case 1: Refund after demo class

If the student and tutor have a demo class and either side disagrees for any reason, the student will get 100% of their money back, provided they did not break any of the policies above.

Case 2: Refunds during the first week

If the student and tutor decide to continue after the demo class, but later either side finds a problem and wishes to stop, and has a valid reason, the student will get all money back for classes they did not attend and for the classes that had problems. Proof will be required.

The tutor will get money for the classes they did teach properly.
